30th anniversary of ERDMANN-Softwaregesellschaft
In 1994, Ulrich Erdmann founded the Görlitz-based software company ERDMANN-Softwaregesellschaft. His vision was to create a software solution that would allow the entire railway infrastructure maintenance process to be viewed at a glance.
The first product developed was the ‘Intelligent Inspection System’ for Deutsche Bahn, a central database and analysis system. The ‘Intelligent Inspection System’ is still in use today across the board.
In 1998, IRISSYS was developed as a successor system for the international market. IRISSYS is designed as a flexible and adaptable solution to meet the needs of customers worldwide. The system is used for numerous railway infrastructures, including in the Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, France and Switzerland.
Now celebrating its 30th anniversary, the company has grown steadily to 52 employees and has a satisfied customer base. Thanks to the goals it has achieved and its planned expansion of business areas, ERDMANN-Softwaregesellschaft is looking forward to a successful future.
Görlitz Company Run on 11 September 2024
Since spring, a small running group has been training diligently every week. And for a specific reason.
Nine colleagues took part in the AOK PLUS Company Run for the very first time this year, representing our company, because innovation needs movement.
Innotrans 2024
From 24 to 27 September 2024, we presented our latest developments relating to the IRISSYS® software family at the Innotrans in Berlin.
We placed a special focus on web-based solutions and applications for tablet computers. With this addition to our product range, the entire maintenance process of a railway infrastructure company can be managed and mapped even more comprehensively.
Of course, several test systems were available for demonstration purposes, allowing us to inform and advise our customers and visitors directly on the product.
